WCBC – The largest income tax cut in state history was signed into law Tuesday afternoon by West Virginia Governor Jim Justice. House members OK’d the tax cuts Saturday after Senate suggestions. The House bill has a 21.25% decrease in personal income taxes, and includes a 100% credit on personal vehicle taxes. The Senate passed the House bill with the changes last week, calling it a compromise between both chambers and the governor. Governor Justice called it a watershed moment for the state.
