With Gov. Jim Justice reporting a $1.3 billion budget surplus for 2022, the WV Center on Budget & Policy, a non-partisan non-profit organization, has been researching what that surplus could mean for West Virginia and each of its 55 counties.
The meeting is being held just one week before the West Virginia State Legislature begins its 2023 session on Jan. 11.
