The door was open for anyone to come and start a conversation about topics related to their community. The most prevalent topic was the movement against the construction of a new power plant and data center in Tucker County.
“So, the concern is, if this power plant emits a bunch of air pollutants, they will get trapped in the valley just like other types of air would. That will really lead to high exposure levels to all of the people who live there,” said Nikki Forrester, Communications Lead for Tucker United.
