McGeehan has a lengthy history of proposing use of state resources for anti-abortion measures and funding nonprofits that adhere to what one bill he cosponsored called “traditional cultural values.”
Evidence from policy research and the state’s own Department of Revenue suggests policies pushed by McGeehan would be costly.
