House Finance Chairman Vernon Criss said the dominant passage vote in that chamber should send a message.
“It’s once in a lifetime or a generation that we are able to send to the Senate a resounding message of that size a vote that we are very concerned about doing personal income tax responsibly over the next three years of 50 percent with the goal at some point to take it to zero,” Criss, R-Wood, said after today’s vote.
