‘Fake News’: Morrisey Says Warning of Cuts to Medicaid, Closing Hospitals Cause Unnecessary Fear

A recent study lists Welch Community Hospital as being in danger of closure under the BBB. Researchers assert new requirements created by the legislation will result in between 50,000 and 110,000 West Virginians losing Medicaid by 2034.

“This is Fake News because the cuts that people are talking about, we know that there are changes that may be coming into place but, there’s a way we can address some of it up front,” said the governor.
