Jim Justice – as pompous, pretentious and self-promoting as they come and, as a person, politician or potentate, take your pick, a decidedly poor personification of the people he is supposed to serve as chief advocate – went out of his way on Wednesday at the end of the most recent legislative interim meetings to tell the whole world, “I told you so.”

Well, yeah. He’s fed us lots of stories over the years. Hard to track all of the humblebrags that did not always comport with the truth but always managed to give himself a pat on the back for a job well done. His arm must hurt.
Such was the case, yet again, this week – only, he hardly lifted a finger for the overwhelming majority of West Virginians.
