“It’s time for our friends in the United States Senate to get to work, and send this Bill to my desk AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!” President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social service late last week.
The Senate is aiming to pass the reconciliation bill by the Fourth of July. Broadly, the bill extends Trump’s 2017 tax cuts, tightens eligibility for health and food benefits, rolls back green energy incentives, increases funding for border security and increases the national debt ceiling.
