The event was hosted by the Marshall County Commission and Assessor’s Office and addressed the tens of millions of dollars the county could lose out on if Amendment 2 is passed.
“If Amendment 2 were to be passed, Marshall County would lose about a third of its property tax revenue,” said Sean O’Leary, with the West Virginia Center on Budget and Policy.
