Following the 2008 recession, most states decided to make cuts, but most are now putting more dollars into spending on its college students. But West Virginia isn’t one of them. It’s one of eight states that saw cuts to higher education funding from the 2013 to 14 fiscal year, according to a report by Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.
