Candidates Gather for Event at War Memorial Park

Journal-News – The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Eastern Panhandle Alumnae Chapter and the Martinsburg-Berkeley County NAACP branch hosted a candidate forum event on Tuesday, which brought several local candidates to War Memorial Park to discuss their positions on issues and answer questions as the election approaches.

While not every candidate attended, all candidates on the November Berkeley County ballots were invited to participate, according to the official release from the event organizers.

Before beginning, Kimberley Crockett, social action chair for the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Eastern Panhandle Alumnae Chapter, expressed respect to all candidates.
