Charleston, WV – As the 2022 legislative session gets underway, the West Virginia Center on Budget and Policy would like to invite you to join us at our 9th annual Budget Breakfast, taking place this Friday, January 21 at 8:00am EST.
Each year, the WVCBP holds this event to provide analysis of the Governor’s proposed budget. You’ll hear from our executive director, Kelly Allen, our senior policy analyst, Sean O’Leary, and our distinguished keynote speaker, Justice Reform Strategies’ Brian Elderbroom, who will be presenting on the need to improve community supervision practices in the Mountain State in order to safely reduce incarceration.

WHAT: WVCBP’s 9th Annual Budget Breakfast
WHEN: January 21, 2022. The WVCBP’s analysis of the Governor’s 2023 proposed budget will begin at 8:00am, followed by keynote speaker presentation and time for Q&A.
Please note, all speakers will be available for interviews/questions following the event. Speakers will be taking questions from legislators and the public from 9:00-9:15am, after which they will proceed to media inquiries.
