More than 345,000 West Virginia families should expect tp see an extra check in their mailboxes or bank accounts on July 15 from the federal government.
Earlier this year at tax time, American families could get up to $2,000 per child, but under the American Rescue Plan Act, Congress raised that amount to $3,600 for kids under six and to $3,000 for kids 6-17.
