Harrison County Commission Approves $40,000 Elevator repair

Commissioners unanimously approved paying $133,150 of $1.39 million in ARPA funds pledged to Lake Floyd PSD for expenses related to a sewer improvement project.

Commissioners also voted 2-1, with Commissioner David Hinkle opposed, to approve a $40,073 contract with Otis Elevator Company for service and repair of the jail annex elevator. The commission can pay the sum in full upfront or pay only half of the total cost up front with a 10% increase in the price tag, according to the service and repair order.
